Passfield Oak Care Home & Office
Passfield Oak care home was a conversion project completed in 2017. The building consisted of 2 communal lounges, 1 commercial kitchen, 12 bedrooms all with en-suites.
KCS Consulting Ltd were appointed by a contractor to take a stage 3 design of M&E services to a stage 4 design and complete thermal modelling calculations to provide EPC certification.
The systems comprised of wet heating system serving radiators throughout with MVHR units where appropriate. Highly efficient LED lighting was used throughout with complex switching circuits to provide staff great flexibility with regards to lighting levels i.e night time set back.
The Mechanical & Electrical project value was between £250k-£300k.
