Gosport War Memorial Hospital CCTV Project
We were instructed by Hampshire NHS Primary Care Trust to design and project manage a new digital CCTV system to replace the ageing analogue system at Gosport War Memorial. The client wished to use a Mobotix system which had been used on some other Trust sites.
The new system was based on 23 cameras which were Power Over Ethernet (POE) connected to a proprietary data network with POE switches, UPS units and 36TB storage. The system included for evidential quality images and suitably watermarked to the Home Office requirements. The work took place during normal operation of the hospital working around the end users.
