Specialist Lighting Systems (Highway, Sports Venues, Landscape & Public Areas)
KCS Consulting Limited are happy to announce that we have our own in-house lighting specialist that has substantial experience in the design of exterior lighting schemes and providing technical advice on matters pertaining to lighting elements of projects.
He has been able to build a comprehensive working knowledge of highway lighting and electrical cable design standards such as: BS 5489, BS EN 13201, BS EN 12464, TA49, TD34, BSEN 40, BD94, BS 7671, BS EN 12767 and lighting within and adjacent to environmentally sensitive areas.
He is a full member of the Institution of Lighting Professionals (ILP), and affiliate member of the SLL. He takes an active role in the ILP London and South Eastern committee as Honorary Secretary and is part of the national CPD working group.
Training/qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Exterior Lighting Diploma - Institute of Lighting Professionals (ILP)
- IEng MILP status, Engineering Council UK & ILP
- EngTech AMILP status, Engineering Council UK & ILP
- Updated IET 17th edition BS7671, wiring regulations including Amendment 3:2015
- IET 17th edition BS7671, wiring regulations: C&G 2381
- Working in the vicinity of DNO/IDNO equipment (G39/1 Highway Electrical Sector Academy)
