We have worked with KCS for a number of years to both maintain (under an SLA) and improve (specific project management) our facilities as they are knowledgeable, reliable and always happy to offer advice and support.

Our original school buildings consisted primarily of a main SCOLA building dating back to 1963, with various other facilities added since 2004. KCS worked with us on a number of projects to modernise and maintain our facilities enabling us to comply with current legislation whilst improving efficiency.

Having worked together to secure Capital Funding KCS have managed the following projects for us: fixed wiring, boilers, kitchen facilities, fire alarm system, lighting. Each project was meticulously planned and managed as KCS made it a priority to understand the needs of the school and were therefore able to consider all aspects of the project and how it would impact us.

Careful consideration had to be made regarding installation methods, due to the amount of Asbestos containing materials on site. KCS worked well with the contractors and managed this very successfully whilst liaising with school staff to minimise disruption.

All projects were carried out within tight timescales and rationalised for delivery within budget.

Under the SLA we have regular meetings to discuss and review the service and maintenance contracts to ensure they adhere to current legislation and still meet our requirements whilst offering best value.

In 2016 we had a devastating fire and KCS could not have been more supportive. They responded immediately and worked tirelessly with the emergency services and utility providers to ensure that the site was safe. Their knowledge of the school was unfailing and they were able to give direction and provide information at a very chaotic and upsetting time.

KCS offer a fully comprehensive service which is delivered efficiently and effectively to achieve a common goal. I would therefore have no hesitation in recommending KCS to other potential customers considering using their services.
